AV Production Manager

We are looking for a full-time Audio Visual Production Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the audio-visual and Live Events industry. This role will be located at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

The salary range for this role is 75,00-80,000.

The PM is responsible for all phases of events including cost and budgetary considerations. The Project Manager will assist in all technical requirements for the scope of a project: including logistics, scheduling, power and rigging requirements, site requirements, room drawings (CAD), etc. as needed. The PM will assist in the planning and scheduling of qualified technicians, as needed, for each project, including projects with multiple functions and site locations. The Production Manager will also coordinate, well in advance, the scheduling, and often attending, site surveys as determined by individual projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all lead positions
  • Assist in production schedules as needed for each phase of the event including breakout rooms, exhibits, entertainment, and more
  • Assist with schedules for trucking needs, dock requirements for the expo, marshaling events, loading in and out labor, and show and event labor
  • Working with the Sales Managers and department leads to determine additional needs of the event
  • Assist the company in strategies for a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience, Skills, & Qualities:

  • A College Degree is preferred but we will consider equivalent work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Vectorworks and rendering software
  • A minimum of 5 years of live event project management work experience
  • Strong knowledge of video, audio, lighting, and scenic elements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor at all times when representing the organization
  • Detail-oriented and ability to problem solve as needed
  • Ability to work with various employees and senior management
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Maintain grooming to company standards and to the standards of our clients.
