Junior Systems Administrator

We are seeking a Junior Systems Administrator located in our Irving, TX office.

As a Junior Systems Administrator at Inspire Event Solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with the senior members of the IT team to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

System Maintenance and Support:

  • Assist in the configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct routine system checks to ensure optimal functionality.

Security Management:

  • Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard company data and systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest security trends and recommend improvements to enhance overall system security.

User Account Management:

  • Assist in user account creation, modification, and termination processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures regarding user access and permissions.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols, security protocols, and server administration.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.
