Video Technician (V2)

Department: Broadmoor Hotel
Location: Colorado Springs, CO

We are looking for a Video Tech 2 for The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. This role will pay $25.00-$27.00 per hour.

Shows & Events Knowledge:
• Video Switching (Datavideo, FOR.A, Panasonic, Barco, Analog Way etc) GFX Operator, Rec/Playback Operator, Camera Operator, Live Streaming
• Projectionist, Monitors/Consumer Displays, LED Video walls, Videographer,
• Strong computer skills - proficient with Keynote/PowerPoint, Playback Pro and other related presentation software
• General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge
• Pull Equipment, Load In, Set up, Operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties
• Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned

Other Qualifications:

  • 1 year of Video Switching experience
  • 3 years of Live Event and Production experience
  • Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, proven through a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with clients, both internal and external.
  • Maintain a professional image in compliance with the company's appearance/dress code.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs.


The ideal candidate:
• Will have demonstrated an interest in pursuing a career in live events, through relevant work or volunteer experience, or education in an Event Technology field.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of live event video and video production, and the ability to learn and master video equipment utilized for video imaging, processing, switching, and projection, including projector blending.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized, have a professional demeanor and be efficient in the use of time management
